Gameplay & Lineups

How do I build my lineup in Good Gamin?

Building your lineup in Good Gamin is intuitive and strategic. From the Home screen, tap "Edit Lineup" to begin (middle bottom Purple Button "Edit Lineup"). You'll then select players and a team from your collection, ensuring they have an active game scheduled during the contest period. The lineup includes: 1 Team, 2 Defenders, 2 Midfielders, 1 Forward, and 1 Flex (any player position). You can drag and drop players/team into position, and only eligible players/teams will appear in the item tray. As you assemble your lineup, a projected points counter updates in real time based on past performances and any training boosts, helping you estimate your score potential. You can also use the Auto-Fill feature, which selects the highest-scoring eligible players automatically. Once you're happy with the selections, click Save Lineup to enter the contest. You can modify your lineup at any time until the player's or team's game starts.

What is the minimum number of players required to enter a lineup?

In Good Gamin, a full lineup consists of 7 total slots: 1 Team, 2 Defenders, 2 Midfielders, 1 Forward and 1 Flex (which can be filled by any player position). However, you're not required to fill all 7 slots to enter a contest. You can submit a lineup with just one player or team card, although your chances of scoring highly will be significantly reduced. Any position you leave empty will earn zero Fantasy Points. This flexible system allows you to participate even when you have a limited number of eligible items. Just remember: once a game involving a selected player or team begins, that slot locks, and you can no longer make changes to it.

Can I make changes to my lineup after submitting it?

Yes, Good Gamin allows you to edit your lineup after saving it—right up until the scheduled game of any selected player or team begins. Once the real-life Premier League game has started, that specific slot in your lineup becomes locked, and you can no longer change it. You can freely swap eligible items in and out of unlocked slots by tapping Edit Lineup, making this feature great for last-minute adjustments or reacting to player injuries and lineup changes ahead of games. It's recommended to finalize your full lineup before kick-off on game day to maximize your potential for earning FPts. Keep an eye on Premier League news and updates, and always double-check your lineup close to game time.

What happens if one of my active lineup players doesn't play for a Premier League Game?

If a player in your Good Gamin lineup is scratched, injured, or otherwise doesn't participate in a game, they simply won't contribute any Fantasy Points (FPts) for that contest. Since FPts are based on real-life Premier League performance, a player must participate in a Premier League game to score.

How does the scoring system work in Good Gamin?

Good Gamin uses a unique scoring system that focuses on core stats from Premier League games. Points (FPts) are earned by both players and teams. Player Scoring: Goal (6 FPts), Assist (4 FPts), Shot on Target (2 FPts), Tackle (1 FPts), Clean Sheet for Defenders only (4 FPts). Team Scoring: Win (5 FPts), Goal Scored (1 FPts), Goal Conceded (1 FPts), Clean Sheet (3 FPts), Save (1 FPts). Players with training boosts gain additional points on top of these base stats. The scoring updates in real time, typically with just a short delay (1-2 minutes) from the live Premier League games. Your total FPts across your lineup determines your contest rank and placement in your division for the week.
