Good Gamin Divisions

Climb the competitive ladder and prove you're among the best fantasy football managers.

What are Divisions?

Division System Overview

When you first signup to play Good Gamin you are placed in a random group (division) of 20 fans to compete against each other. You play in this division for the entire week, accumulating as many fan points (FPts) as possible across all Premier League gamedays that week (typically 7 gamedays per week contest). At the end of the week, the top 3 ranked users (from your group of 20) get promoted to the next Division (level).

Competitive Balance

High performing fans will keep getting promoted week after week, climbing up the ranks to eventually reach the top Division – The top 20 fans of all fans playing the game. Lower performing players may get relegated down divisions. This ensures that all new users who signup to play the game enter the app at the bottom (lowest) division and ultimately compete against other fans of the same skill level before progressing up the ranks.

Objective of the Game

Ultimate Goal

The goal is for fans to climb the division ranks, getting promoted week-after-week and ultimately play in the top Division against the best 20 Good Gamin fans.

How Divisions Work

Getting Started

• Every new registered fan enters into the game at level 1 "Playground"
• Every new registered fan is randomly assigned to a group of 20 fans
• Based on the Fan's Gameweek (typically 7 days) performance within their division (total FPts) determines which division the fan will be competing in the upcoming week

Gameweek Schedule

• Typically the Gameweeks end Sunday night after the last Premier League game is played within Sunday's gameday slate of games
• Divisions are finalized the next day (Monday) mornings at 10:00am ET, in which fans will be placed into their new division for that upcoming gameweek

Promotion & Relegation Rules

"My Division" Rank → Next Week's Placement:

Positions 1-3: Promoted to Next Division
Positions 4-14: Stay in Same Division
Positions 15-20: Relegated Down a Division

Special Division Rules

• At level (1) there is no relegation, so only 1-3 get promoted → 4-20 remain at the (level 1) division the following week
• At level (12), the top division, there is no promotion so only 15-20 get relegated → 1-14 remain in that single division for the following week

Tiebreaker Rules

What if there is a tie in Divisions? In the instance there is a tie in FPts, the tie-breaker rule favors the user who signed up first. So if two users are tied in 3rd place, the user who registered their account first will finish 3rd and the other user will finish 4th.

Global Leaders

What is Global Leaders?

Whilst divisions is all about performing the best out of your group of 20 users, Global Leaders is a leaderboard of every individual competing that week in Good Gamin (regardless of your rank or division).

Global Rewards

Finish top of the leaderboard at the end of the gameweek to receive coin prize. Coin prizes vary week by week, but check out the "Contest Details" (found on home screen) to see the coin prize payout that week. In most cases the top 2000 users will receive a coin prize.
