Understand how Fantasy Points (FPts) are calculated and maximize your lineup potential.
Good Gamin lineups consist of 7 total slots that you can fill with players and teams from your collection:
Defenders (D): 2 slots
Midfielders (M): 2 slots
Forwards (F): 1 slot
Flex (D, M, F): 1 slot (any player position)
Team: 1 slot
A lineup is considered entered into contest and scores FPts as long as 1 minimum slot is filled in. Lineups with 0 slots filled in will be considered not entered into contest and result in "0" FPts for that game slate.
Goal (G): 7 FPts
Assist (A): 4 FPts
Shot on Target (S): 1 FPts
Tackle (T): 1 FPts
Pass Intercepted: 1 FPts
Clean Sheet (CS) - Defenders only: 3 FPts
Goals are the most valuable individual action, making forwards and attacking midfielders particularly valuable. However, defenders can accumulate significant points through tackles, interceptions, and clean sheet bonuses. Consider player roles and match-ups when building your lineup.
Win (W): 5 FPts
Clean Sheet (CS): 5 FPts
Save (SV): 2 FPts
Corners (C): 1 FPts
Goal Conceded (GC): -2 FPts
Teams can be highly valuable, especially those with strong defensive records (clean sheets) and active goalkeepers (saves). Note that goal conceded is the only negative scoring action, so avoid teams facing high-scoring opponents when possible. Winning teams provide solid base points, while clean sheets offer excellent bonus value.
Training Boosts applied are shown in "Blue" on the Scoring Details screen. Each attribute "trained" can have a boost of (+1), (+2) or (+3) applied to the base FPts value.
Example 1: A player with Bronze training (+1) on Goals would receive 8 FPts instead of 7 FPts for each goal scored.
Example 2: A defender with Gold training (+3) on Tackles would receive 4 FPts instead of 1 FPts for each tackle made.
Example 3: A team with Silver training (+2) on Wins would receive 7 FPts instead of 5 FPts for winning a match.
Focus training on attributes that your players are most likely to achieve. For forwards, prioritize Goals and Assists. For defenders, consider Tackles and Pass Intercepted. For teams, Wins and Clean Sheets offer the most consistent value. Remember that higher-level training (Silver, Gold) provides greater boosts but requires more resources.
Live Scoring is updated in real-time with approximately 60-90 second delay from the Premier League Opta API Scoring feed. All stats and scores are sourced from Premier League Opta feed, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
All Good Gamin and FPts stats/scores are considered finalized after a Premier League match is concluded. In rare occasions, some stats may be adjusted after a game is completed - these stats may or may not be included in Good Gamin final scoring, depending on the official Premier League determination.
Monitor your FPts accumulation throughout gamedays to see how your lineup performs. The live scoring allows you to track your division ranking and global leaderboard position in real-time, helping you understand what adjustments might be needed for future lineups.
• Goals (7 FPts) are the highest-value individual actions - prioritize attacking players
• Team Wins + Clean Sheets (10 FPts combined) can provide excellent value
• Trained players can significantly outperform their base stats
• Consistent performers often outvalue high-ceiling, low-floor options
• Goal Conceded (-2 FPts) is the only negative scoring - consider defensive matchups
• Fill all 7 slots when possible to maximize point potential
• Balance high-upside players with consistent point producers
• Monitor injury reports and lineup confirmations before games start
• Stack teams with high win probability for multiple scoring opportunities
• Target defenders from teams likely to keep clean sheets
• Consider game script - attacking teams in favorable matchups
• Use the Flex slot strategically for your highest-scoring available player
